Last week I had the pleasure of working with many compassionate women from my community.Together we prepared several meals for a fellow mom who had recently lost her baby after only being in this world less than 48 hours.
The reason we were brought together was a tragedy, and at the same time it was a beautiful time to celebrate life and really appreciate what we have. We all have children under 5, which is the reason we meet on a regular basis.
What I love about being in this community of moms is that each one of us has a gift to offer. Each one of us is unique, and at any given moment we can use these talents to come together and bond our forces so that special things get done. Our leadership skills differ and because of this we get things done!
I know why I was chosen to be a mom. I have a gift to share with other moms, my kids, my husband and my community. God chose me to be the best I can be and to share my love. Thank you to all the moms who have shared this journey with me. Thank you for everything you have shared with me and allowed me to share with you. I am very grateful for everything, and everyone God has blessed me with and for everything I shall receive from here on in!
