It is time to start back at my blog! It has been way too long since I have written anything and today just gave me a good kick to take another go at it!
This morning I had the pleasure of sharing 2 hours of empowering quality time with 4 other women from my community. I invited them to my house so we could start up our own networking group. All of us are relatively young moms with 2+ kids. All of us share the need to be in community with other women. All of us have our own small businesses to share!
We met today to get to know one another as entrepreneurs, not just moms! We all have a fire within and we want to keep the fire burning and keep it growing. The only way to do this is to work together and inspire, motivate, and share ideas with one another.
Krista is our Scentsy Consultant and owner of Light of the Lake (candles, soaps, and lip balms), Valérie is our Tupperware Consultant, Cynthia is a budding children's book author, Suzanne is owner of Bag Balm and is working on some new business projects, and I, Lee-Anne, am founder of Healthy Chase which is the umbrella company for 3 of the health and wellness companies I am passionately involved with: USANA Health Sciences, The Healthy Edge, Zumba ® fitness.
I am so excited to be on this fun new journey with my female business peeps! Together we will succeed and together we will be better able to contribute to our community!
Our next meeting will be to work on our vision/dream boards and discuss the name we would like to have for our group. Just like school we be cutting and pasting and dreaming bigger than we have in a while. Watch out Stanstead, 'cause the girls are back in town!
